RealTime7 Inc. is a maker of IoT embedded devices, firmware, and software for B2B and B2C markets. The company is seeking a senior Python developer who has previous experience in networking and security. They should understand sockets, udp, tcp, icmp, and http protocols. RSA, AES, SHA, and other concepts in encryption. The should have worked with threading. Previous experience in working with peer to peer communications, including file transfers, VoIP, and Video will be helpful.

Experience with C++ would be beneficial.

a) The immediate job description is to write a secure communication between client, server, and communications broker according to the provided specification.

b) After the communication is proven in Python, the server portion of the code is to be migrated to C++. This part can be done by the developer or another resource depending on capability.

c) There are ongoing projects with the company that the developer can be retained on.

Job Types: Freelance, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 1 month

Salary: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
